Dullahan Appearance: A man in dark armor, with a sword at his side, and carrying a whip made out of a human's spine, carrying his head under one arm and riding a great horse. Sometimes they drive a wagon made out of bones. Demeanor: When the Dullahan stops riding, someone is about to die, when they call that person's name all but the strongest fall over dead. They have been known to throw blood in the eyes of those who see them about their business. Powers: Power over life and death. wiki page |

Capable of "1000 needles" attack, which launches a barrage of needles at the target, doing massive amounts of damage wiki page |
Tonberry Appearance: A child-sized lizard wearing a brown robe and carrying a lantern and a small knife Demeanor: It seems non-threatening, and even pretty cute as it slowly makes its way toward you. Minotaur Appearance: The offspring of a beautiful woman and a massive bull (don't ask, Greeks are kind of weird) this creature presents as the larger and more bestial halves of his shared ancestry. Demeanor: Strong, territorial, perpetually angry, and with an extremely volatile temper, it's best not to cross into the Minotaur's territory. Powers: Strong like bull. wiki page |
Pegasus Appearance: A beautiful horse with snow white wings Demeanor: Pegasus is not vicious really, but it is very wild and hard to tame, known to dump an unworthy rider that insists on trying to ride him anyway. Powers: Flight. wiki page |
Dinosaur, Compstegnathus Appearance: It's body looks similar to that of the Compsoganathus, a small theropod carnivore, but it's much larger. It has spikes on hit's back and tail somewhat similar to a stegosaurus, and colorization of that of an african tree frog. It has a projectile spit and a lashing tongue filled with a paralyzing poison. Demeanor: Combine speed, aggression and a piranha like appetite and you have this beast. Powers: Frog like lashing poison tongue, spiked tail and wicked set of jaws make this beast a monster. I'd make it smaller than what it says on the Wiki. About the size of a Deinohnychus would be just fine. wiki page |
Tanaconda Appearance: It's an anaconda with claws. 18 feet long, it is able to constrict large prey as well as grasp branches for better maneuverability. It's colorization is red, yellow and black. Demeanor: As if it's any surprise, these dinos were created to be mean and cruel little monsters. Or big. In this case, big. Powers: Claws, teeth and constricting body. wiki page |

Workers are subterranean and pale, but have chemical shots that they can burn enemies with as they guard the brood. Barnacle Appearance: Looks like a large worm attached to a ceiling. It lowers it's sticky tongue down to it to pull prey up and swallow it whole. Sometimes they hang around in clusters to share prey or have a second opinion on whether or not something constitutes as prey. The only way they have to sense is by tasting something with their mouths. Demeanor: They not to more menacing than any other mindless animal that works only to eat. If you're not food it will spit it out. Unarmed prey is best. Powers: They have a sticky rope like appendage that wraps around it's prey and pulls it back up so it can swallow it, usually in one bite, stretching it and dissolving it in strong stomach acids that fall out when it's killed. wiki page |
Headcrabs and Zombies Appearance: Four legged masses of flesh with beaks inside of their bodies to latch onto the victim's face with. Zombies are he human hosts which are controlled by the headcrab, and like zombies they vary based on type. Normal headcrabs produce normal zombies and they're fat little critters who waddle around on their hind legs with their front legs up and armed usually. With that posture they can better pounce on their targets. Fast and poison headcrabs are sleeker models of the normal, with fast skittering around and usually hard to hit. Poison headcrabs have armor, which make them difficult to kill as well. Demeanor: Headcrabs will pursue any targets they deem as suitable hosts but they are almost entirely attracted to human hosts and humanoid like hosts. The combine have programmed them to be attracted to humans as hosts. Zombies are mindless killing machines and will attack unprovoked by may not be aware of your presence until they see or hear you. Powers: All headcrabs once attached to a host's head will make them into mindless puppets. Lacking eyes, they hunt by sound, using their long ten foot trio of hissing prehensile serpent like tentacle tongues. These are often mistaken for the creature itself leading to people to underestimate their opponents. Demeanor: Ravenous predators and indiscriminate eaters. Strong tentacle graspers and jaws make it a formidable foe. wiki page |

Series: Star Wars
Appearance: Take a capybara, make it six feet from snout to rump, give it mange, clawed feet, more of a snout, and a scabby tail.
Demeanor: It's possible to domesticate them, but mostly they're dangerous pests. They usually travel in packs of up to 20 so that they can overwhelm and kill larger animals. Scavengers and hunters, very persistent and stubborn - even killing one won't make it release its bite.
Powers: They can eat damn near anything and chew through most things, don't need much water, have viciously powerful jaws, and are highly prolific, whelping as many as eight at a time. They're edible but strong tasting.

Monster: Lesser Dewback
Series: Star Wars
Appearance: Horse-tall rhinolike lizard with its legs held under its body, possessing thick pebbled scales in green, brown, red, gray, or rarely blue.
Demeanor: Mild, gentle most of the time. They're fairly easy to domesticate and coax into carrying things even as adults, though raising one from an egg or a pup is best. Larger predators or ones they've learned to fear can spook them; they will either run or bite and trample to good effect.
Powers: They're strong, omnivorous, sturdy, can briefly run very fast, can go with little water, and have a good sense of smell. Also very edible. Sluggish in the cold.
Wiki: Here.
Monster Race/Breed: Sketto
Series: Star Wars
Appearance: A cross between a dragonfly and a deep-sea fish, the kind with a long body and huge teeth, with some lizard thrown in. Around a foot long counting the tail.
Demeanor: Most of the time they sleep upside down in enclosed dark spaces. At night they take wing, sometimes in swarms, and eat insects and tiny animals. They also land and pierce the skins of larger, usually-sleeping animals with their long thin teeth in order to lap up the blood. If you're awake, moving, and not going after their young, they usually won't bother you.
Powers: They fly loudly and walk slowly but much more quietly, see well in low light, possess very sharp teeth, and have numbing anticoagulant saliva that prevents quick clotting.
Wiki/Picture: Here.

Wiki/Picture: Here
Monster Race/Breed: Jakrab
Series: Star Wars
Appearance: Strung-out, mostly hairless greyhound-jackrabbit creatures
Demeanor: Very swift, inquisitive, tend to charge through. They're flightly herbivores and not dangerous unless well cornered. Tend to stick to loose herds and signal each other with their ears.
Powers: Fast and prolific. Very lean meat.

Monster Race/Breed: Canyon krayt dragon.
Series: Star Wars
Appearance: A dragonlike monitor lizard with a study head, cranial horns, ridges on its spine, thick scales in yellow-brown, tan, black, or green, and a spiked tail.
Also? Big. Big big big big big. Oh god. They can get a good ninety feet long.
Demeanor: Much smaller than greater krayt dragons, canyon krayts den in tight spaces like caves and canyons. They mostly sleep and rarely need to eat, and usually go for whatever's ventured too close to their den, though they'll go out looking if they have to. Any animal that is not another krayt dragon is prospective food.
Individuals have had baby ones as pets, but don't expect a loyal companion. A well-tended krayt might tolerate and not eat you, but it associates your species with food now, so if it's not kept confined...
Powers: It's said that krayts are descended from the Star Dragons. Certainly they have a suite of abilities which seems to be cheating.
They're far quieter on the hunt than they should be, and have massively thick, essentially impervious scales. To stun prey some let loose a roar that seems to reverberate through the body of a listener; it's very hard not to run or freeze. Others have envenomed teeth or spines. They're all fierce and powerful.
They can be killed by shooting or driving something through their sinus cavities or soft palate and into their brains, which is possible when their mouths are open or they're facing you head on. Otherwise you basically need mines or heavy artillery - these are the Death Stars of Tatooine's wildlife. Canny older ones may keep their heads clear of humanoid prey while it's alive, trampling or attacking with their tails.
They digest prey with the help of gizzard stones, which eventually become dragon pearls. These are useful. Krayts are edible, but butchering them is intensely difficult.
